Free-tier limits

A self-hosted instance includes, at no cost:

• 5 monitored services
• 3 team members

These are hard limits. To raise them, buy a license.

Using a license key

Buy a license from the SaaS, then add its key under Settings → License key (owners only) and Save. The instance verifies the key against the license server (POST /api/licenses/verify) and applies the returned entitlement (for example, a higher service cap); the card shows whether it's active. No restart needed.

You can also set the LICENSE_KEY environment variable for automated deploys; a key saved in the UI takes precedence over the env var.

If the license server is temporarily unreachable, the instance keeps running on its free-tier limits rather than failing. The effective limit and its source are shown under Settings → Plan & limits.
