Upgrading

Database migrations run automatically on every boot, so upgrading is just pulling the latest image and restarting.

Updating

In Coolify, trigger a redeploy — it pulls the latest image and restarts.

With Docker Compose:

docker compose -f docker-compose.prod.yml pull
docker compose -f docker-compose.prod.yml up -d

Backups

Your data is the /app/data volume (SQLite + WAL files). Back it up before upgrading by copying that directory. Restoring is copying it back and starting the container.

Migrations are forward-only. Take a backup before upgrading if you need a guaranteed rollback path.
