Notifications

Alert Telegram and email when a service goes down or recovers.

Notifications are configured per status page under Settings, and are sent by the monitor worker on state transitions — when a service goes down, and again when it recovers. They are edge-triggered, so you get one message per transition rather than a message on every check.

Telegram

  1. Create a bot with @BotFather and copy its token.
  2. Get the chat ID(s) that should receive alerts (message the bot, or add it to a group; a helper like @userinfobot returns your chat ID).
  3. In Settings → Telegram notifications, paste the token and one or more chat IDs (one per line, or comma-separated), then Save.
  4. Use Send test to confirm delivery.

Email

In Settings → Email notifications, enter your SMTP details:

  • Host and Port (for example smtp.example.com / 587).
  • TLS — enable for SMTPS (usually port 465).
  • Username / Password — optional; leave blank for an unauthenticated relay. Leaving the password blank when editing keeps the previously saved one.
  • From address and Recipients (one per line or comma-separated).

Save, then Send test to confirm.

Enabling / disabling

Each channel has an enabled checkbox — turn a channel off without deleting its settings. Remove deletes the channel entirely.

Notifications respect maintenance: while a service is covered by an active maintenance window, it does not fire down alerts.
